No Hesitation

"We're scared to fail and look bad, scared to pray or lift our hands in worship, we're plain scared for too much really..."

"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." - Joshua 1:9 -

Okay, let's try this again; "... I will be with you wherever you go" (Joshua 1:9). Anything? Okay, how about this one, "You are fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:14). No? Well, what about, "You are born for such a time as this" (Esther 14:14), or "I have loved you with an everlasting love..." (Jeremiah 31:3). Oh I know! "I will never leave you nor forsake you"? (*crickets sound*). Wow... tough crowd.

Think about it, we hear the Word all the time, but are we living it? God drowns us with loads of affirmations throughout the bible and NEVER FAILS to walk His talk. Yet still, we as His children still walk around on Earth as if we're orphans without a home. It's BEEN full time that we walk around like we have a Father who owns the place, because HELLO?? We do! The Creator of this very universe is our Father. We literally have a friend that holds nations in His hands... if that's not the best link ;) ever, I have no idea what is.

So why do you still hesitate when God says "Go"? Why do you believe the lies in your head over what the Creator of the universe says about you, breaking down at the slightest insult you get or allowing one stressful day to run you into the ground? As soon as someone disapproves of us in any way, we easily feel unworthy and like we don't measure up. Maybe you're asked just to pray but refuse because you can't do it like someone else. We're scared to fail and look bad, scared to pray or lift our hands in worship, we're plain scared for too much really... when our Father who placed the stars in the sky and knows them by name says that He is ALWAYS with us. When will you start believing Him? The world's standards shouldn't phase us- what God says should be ALL that matters. Now, GO. Walk in all He has said about you.
