"The remedy is “Doing It With GOD!"

ree

"Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, which, having no captain, overseer or ruler, provides her supplies in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest. How long will you slumber, O sluggard? When will you rise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep— So shall your poverty come on you like a prowler, And your need like an armed man." - Proverbs 6:6-11

“Many times, we have blinded ourselves to the stronghold that is in our lives because it’s easy!” – Karris Farris

Oh, I’ll do it later!” Have you ever found yourself saying this statement or saying something similar?

It is not uncommon for many of us to fall into this trap. It is one that we can easily get ensnared in. We say it may say it once here and there, and then after a while it happens more than we know it. Before long, we have turned into a full-blown procrastinator, without even realizing it! How may I live life without getting spiritually dull, you may ask? My friends, there is a remedy for this! The remedy is “Doing It With GOD!It means any task that you have before you. This translates into praying and actually doing the task at hand when you feel the spirit of laziness. Laziness is a stronghold that captures our ability to make progress, as it causes us to remain stagnant with the deception that we have comfort and control over the situation. It is a LIE holds us hostage and a form of bondage that we need to be freed from.

No need to fret our feel overwhelmed because this struggle seems impossible to overcome. Our God came to set the captives free and break the yoke of bondage! We have hope that with God all things are possible. It tells us in Psalm 127, those who builds the house with the Lord, they labor not in vain. It also tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:58, once we stay strong and are immovable and give ourselves fully to the work of the Lord, nothing that we do is ever useless! When accomplishing a task, we never do it by ourselves and this is the reason why we must work hard at anything our hands find to do and never put off what you can do now for later. Never fear to put in the work need because sooner or later you will indeed reap the rewards of your labor. So, my friends as we see here there is hope when we do everything with God.

We will not slumber or sleep. We will labor until God says no more. We will take charge and “GO” forth knowing that God is our anchor and He will be behind us wherever we go. We will take heart and not faint. We are God’s ambassadors. We are militant in Christ!
