"Rest assured that the Lord is a keeper and He will keep His bride."

"As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God."
– Psalm 42:1 –
How many times have you cried, “God, let this cup pass from me” when you have been tried and tested? Trials may break you but in the end, it will make you. One songwriter puts it this way, “He never promised that the cross would not get heavy and that the hill would not be hard to climb. He never offered us victories without fighting but He said help would always come in time.” God always sends help in our difficult moments. It may not be in the form of taking us out of the fire but it may look like walking with us through it. Even in this time as we are faced with a global crisis, God wants us to remain calm, after all, according to Isaiah 26 vs 3 He keeps in perfect peace those whose mind is stayed on him because you trust in Him. His promises are yes and amen and He did promise us that He would be with us when we pass through the waters.
During this time, all over the world, many are faced with the uncertainty of the future but one thing is for certain and that is our salvation. Rest assured that the Lord is a keeper and He will keep His bride. The question to you is this, “what are you doing to be kept?” I implore you to be like David in Psalm 63 vs 1 when he cried, “O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirst for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water” and also in Psalm 42 vs 1, “As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God.” Now is the time to truly seek the Lord. Now is the time to shake up or be shipped off. Now is the time to Go. Now is the time to run. Now is the time for the bride of Christ to truly arise. Let us seek God as if our life depends on it. Truly, our life depends on it.
